Library and Museum, North Street, Brighstone
Brighstone Village Museum in North Street can be accessed through the adjacent Brighstone Community Library on Tuesday mornings, Thursday afternoons and all day Saturday.
Situated within a row of traditional cottages owned by the National Trust, it is run by the Brighstone Museum Trust and provides a fascinating view of village life in the 19th century.
Mottistone Manor and Garden
Surrounding an Elizabethan manor house in a sheltered valley, this magical National Trust garden is full of surprises, with shrub-filled banks, hidden pathways and colourful herbaceous borders.
Other features include a young olive grove, a small organic kitchen garden and a traditional tea garden. There are also delightful walks across the adjoining Mottistone Estate.
The popular National Trust Shop, which has a wide range of gifts and cards including many local items, is located within the ticket office at the entrance to the garden.

The Longstone
The Longstone, which stands on Mottistone Common, marks the eastern end of a Neolithic long-barrow.
The many other prehistoric burial mounds which can be seen on the Downs above the Parish are from the more recent Bronze Age. All are protected as Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
